European Accreditation FAQs
The individual European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA) technical committees have a process in place for reviewing and agreeing consensus answers to questions raised by members and stakeholders. Final consensus views on the questions raised are discussed and agreed at the scheduled committee meetings (held twice per year) with the results available to members and stakeholders to further disseminate: The EA does not currently have a mechanism in place for publishing these on its public website but this is being considered.
UKAS monitors these FAQs and will feedback to accredited CABs and stakeholders any significant ones through technical bulletins or direct communication as the need arises.
The EA FAQs are intended as a consensus view of the members and are not official interpretations of the standard.
